You are not just a body in recovery. You are a soul being restored.

๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

โ€” Isaiah 40:31

๐Ÿ’›A Message from Heather

Everyone's journey looks different โ€” and that's okay. My story includes God, who is personally the higher power I believe in. He has walked with me through the darkest moments of my life and helped me find my way back to myself. I would not be here without Him.

But I want you to know something important: I am not here to push religion on anyone. You may not have a religion. You may have been angry at God โ€” and that's understandable. You may have been deeply hurt by people who claimed to be Christians. And if that's you, I am truly sorry. That was not God โ€” that was people, and people are imperfect.

All I ask is this: believe in something bigger than yourself. What you call that, what it looks like for you โ€” that is entirely your journey. What I can tell you is: if you stay open, the miracles will come. I've seen it. I've lived it. And I believe with everything in me that you will too. ๐Ÿ™

Why Faith Matters in Recovery

Recovery is not just about stopping a behavior โ€” it's about becoming a new person. Science tells us that connection is the opposite of addiction. Faith provides the deepest connection of all: a relationship with a loving God who will never leave you.

When you feel worthless, God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. When you feel hopeless, God says He has plans for your future. When you feel alone, God says He will never leave you. When you feel weak, God says His power is made perfect in your weakness.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to believe that something greater than yourself can restore you to sanity. That willingness is the beginning of everything.
